Policy Management
Policy Management is a feature that enables the Provider / Consumer Admin to
- Create Policy
- Data Org Policy
- Pipeline Policy
- Edit Policy
- Delete policy
Create Policy
1. Click on Policy Management menu under Security tab
2. Click on + icon to Create Policy
3. To Create policy as policy type Data Org Policy
3a. Fill all the parameters as shown below and Select Policy Type as Data Org Policy from the drop-down list
3b. To set Path, Click Select button and navigate to the folder where Data Org Policy needs to be applied
3c. Add user groups by selecting the User Group names from the drop-down list as shown below
Note : Minimum one User Group required to add to create any policy
3d. Set the Privileges of the User Group by selecting the available options (Ingest, Read & Delete)
3e. To add more User Group, Click on Add button and follow the same step to set Privileges
3f. Click on Create button to complete Create Policy
4. To Create policy as policy type Data Pipeline Policy
4a. Fill all the parameters as shown below and Select Policy Type as Data Pipeline Policy from the drop-down list
4b. Select the Pipeline(s) from Pipeline drop-down list as shown below
4c. Add user groups by selecting the User Group names from the drop-down list as shown below
Note : Minimum one User Group required to add to create any policy
4d. Set the Privileges of the User Group by selecting the available options (Read, Write, Execute & Delete)
4e. To add more User Group, click on Add button and follow the same step to set Privileges
4f. Click on Create button to complete Create Policy
Edit Policy
Edit Policy is not permissible once it is created by Provider / Consumer Admin
Delete Policy
To delete a policy, Click on Delete icon in Action(s) column from Policy listing
On successful deletion, the notification will appear as shown below
