The screen capture below shows the landing page of the Data Dictionary


The Data Dictionary User Interface consists of the following features:

    • Create a Data Dictionary
    • Delete a dictionary
    • Individual Dictionary
    • View a Dictionary
    • Edit a Dictionary


Data Dictionary List

The Data Dictionary offers a tabulated view where in the user can view:

    • The dictionary name
    • The email id of the user who has created the dictionary
    • The various actions that can be performed on the Dictionary
Add Dictionary

Step 1: Click on Add Dictionary icon as shown below


Step 2: To create a new dictionary Type the Dictionary Name


Note : Existing Dictionary Schema can be uploaded by clicking on the Upload Dictionary Schema button

Step 3: Type the column details and click on + icon to add the column in the dictionary



Step 4: Add more column details and click on + icon each time to add the column in the dictionary. Click Save button to save the Dictionary


Post Save, the newly created dictionary will be listed in Data Dictionary dashboard as shown below


Download

Click the Download icon to download the dictionary schema as shown below


Dictionary Schema



View

Click on View, to view the file as shown below



Edit Dictionary Information

Step 1: Click on Edit icon of the individual dictionary to Edit the information in it


Step 2: Update the necessary fields and click on Update button

Delete Dictionary

To delete a dictionary, click on Delete icon
