This feature enables a Provider Application Developer to create application(s) in the Bristlecone NEO® Platform


Following are the steps to create an application using App [Application] Deployment feature


Step 1: Click on Applications and select Create App [Application]



Step 2 : Click on "+" button as shown below



Step 3 : Enter the following information in the Add Configuration pop up screen as shown below


App Id [ Application Id ] : A unique number to identify the Application


App Name [ Application Name ] : Name of the Application


App URL [Application URL] : URL in which the Application is deployed

Note: Only alphanumeric characters and “-“ are allowed

App Desc : A field to describe the functionalities of the Application

Note: This field is optional

Has Authenticate : A Flag to indicate whether the APP [ Application ] is deployable or not


Has Authenticate consists of two values


  • True : Application is deployable using App Deployment UI
  • False : Application is non-deployable


Step 4 :Click on Save button as shown below



App [Application] created is listed in Create APP dashboard as shown below



Edit App [Application]


To edit the App [ Application] Click on the “Edit” icon as shown below



An Add Configuration screen pop inside the “Edit” option enables the user to edit the following parameters


App Name : Update/Change the name of the application


App Desc : Update/Change the description of the application


Has Authenticate : Enable/Disable the application

Note User cannot change the App Id and App URL in the Edit mode

Click on Save to update changes or Reset to undo the changes



Post saving the changes, user is notified as shown below



Delete App [Application]


Click on the delete icon to delete an app [application] as shown below



Click on Yes to delete the application or No to cancel the deletion
